Matthew Kedir

INTERN

Matthew is a Partnerships & Webinar Think-Tank Intern for CGHI. His role primarily involves finding, recruiting, and onboarding public health masterclass leaders, Non-Profit partnerships, and professionals for interviews. He is currently a Human Health Major (with an epidemiology focus) at Emory College, aiming to pursue the 4+1 BA/MPH Epidemiology program at Emory’s Rollins School of Public Health. He has taken 2 online Epidemiology Foundation courses hosted on the CDC TRAIN platform from the Centers for Disease Control and the University of Minnesota’s School of Public Health, while currently taking a Global Health Power Structures & Ethics Class taught by Emory’s Global Health Institute.

 As a growing low-income first-generation professional, he aims to highlight the power of human perspective and the power of advising to inspire positive behavior, bring life-changing opportunities, and drive flourishing. He has previous experience in both leadership & hands-on positions for nonprofits and student bodies, which include Emory’s Undergraduate Student Government Association, Emory Synergy, and the national non-profit Matriculate.
