Christos Tsagkaris

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Christos Tsagkaris is a medical doctor from Greece training in Orthopaedic Surgery in Switzerland. He has worked at the University Children’s Hospital Zurich and the Balgrist University Hospital. In addition to his medical studies, he holds postgraduate degrees in Public Administration and Healthcare Management, as well as in European Politics and Governance. He serves in an advisory capacity to institutional bodies including the European Commission and the European Regional Office of the World Health Organization, as well as to civil society organizations such as the Institute of Cancer and Crisis and the Coalition for Global Health Innovation, advocating for equitable access to healthcare and for youth engagement in health policy.

His clinical and research interests include orthopaedic surgery and biomechanics, public health, global surgery, and the impact of crises and conflict on health.
