Daniel Cherkos: World Health Summit Delegate representing CGHI.

Daniel Cherkos Teka is a medical doctor, lecturer, and global health advocate from Ethiopia. Graduating with Honors of Very Great Distinction from Addis Ababa University, he leads public health engagement at EASE (Extending Access and System Enhancement), focusing on rebuilding post-war health systems and outreach to vulnerable communities. With experience in emergency response, trauma-informed care, and youth-led advocacy, Daniel combines clinical expertise with grassroots action to strengthen resilience in fragile contexts. He is committed to amplifying marginalized voices and advancing equity and justice in global health.
